The 2008 soccer season is fast approaching. Registration dates are set and we are ready to start kicking it!! This page will provide the details for the upcoming soccer season. If you have any questions, please us at soccer@all-starssports.com

Registration Dates & Times:

January 12th    10:30am to 1:00pm

January 26th    10:30am to 1:00pm

February 9th      10:30am to 1:00pm

February 23rd      10:30am to 1:00pm  

March 1st            10:30am to 1:00pm

We will have a coaches meeting / draft on March 1st at 2:00 pm. This meeting will also be at the church.

Soccer is offered for children who are 4 years old on or before March 15, but not 10 years old by March 15. Children who will be 10 on or before March 15 can play flag football in our flag football league.

FAQ

1) When do sign-ups start?
 
Registration begins on January 12th. All registrations will be at the church located at 25124 S Fryer Street in Channahon.

 

2) What are the soccer fees?

$55 for the first child

$45 each for 2 children

$40 each for 3 or more

3) When does soccer practice start?

Presently soccer practice is scheduled to start the week of March 10th.

4) When do soccer games start?

Soccer games are scheduled to start March 22nd.

5) When will soccer games end?

The final soccer games are scheduled to end May 17th, weather permitting.

6) When will practices and games be held?

 

Prior to the start of the season you should expect to have at least one practice during the week and one on Saturday. After the season starts, week night practices will be left to the discretion of the coaches.

 

Most games will be played on Saturday mornings, however there may be a few evening games later in the season.

 

If we experience any rainouts, games may be made up during the week in an effort to complete the season on time.

 

7) Where will the practices and games be?

 

First Baptist Channahon owns 25 acres in Channahon, across from the Channahon Plaza. The street sign at the entrance to our property is called Konjevich Street.

 

3) What does the registration fee cover?

 

Your registration fee includes a soccer shirt, socks, trophy and helps pay for the equipment we will need such as soccer balls, goals, field preparations etc.

 

4) When does the season start, when does it end?

 

Practices start in March. Games will start in late March and are scheduled to end in May.
